Alaska's Pioneer Peak, taken by one of

Shelley's sisters, near their birthplace,

(for those who think Alaska is nothing but ice and snow)

Shelley's paternal grandparents, Alaska, 1971

Shelley's Grandmother prayed every day for

17 years that Shelley would surrender to Christ.

This is a typical class of students at The Seeing Eye. Shelley is third from the left with Katie. Paul calls this "Blindlady's Boot camp" because of the early risings and regimented schedule.

"The Mind's Eye Theatre," a drama ministry headed by Paul & Shelley, gearing up for their first performance of "Scrooge in'da Hood." This is a unique, radio-theatre format where sound is key and where people don't have to memorize their lines or move about on stage.

David, one of The Mind's Eye Theatre's shining stars, on stage waiting patiently for his cue. "I had to put this one in." Shelley says, "Who could resist those eyes?"  (1999)

Houses remain one of Shelley's favorite subjects.  This is Shelley's all-time favorite house. It is located about 15 miles south of Seattle. You might say it's "Neo-colonial" with wrap-around porches on both stories and arched French doors complimented with gables on the second story. Paul drove her there expressly to take this photo.

This picture was taken in Shelley's Mother's kitchen. Shelley changed the background into a flower garden.

Shelley with a huge bouquet of flowers. (This picture was self-taken. Thank Heaven for those little camera timers!)
