About Shelley

Shelley Magnussen is an artist, pianist, singer songwriter, comedian, poet and inspirational speaker as well as a writer. In addition to these accomplishments, Shelley is also an amateur playwright, actress, director and photographer. In fact, most of what you see on this site is from Shelley’s own hand.

This combination of talents and accomplishments is remarkable in itself. What really sets them apart is that Shelley has roughly one third of the average person's eyesight.

When people are asked to describe Shelley in one sentence, most will say She’s full of surprises and there is NO keeping up with her. Shelley is lively, quick-witted snd spontaneous with a child-like quality from which comes an infectious joy—but don’t let that kid-at-heart exterior fool you. Shelley possesses a great deal of insight, intellectual capacity, empathy and intuition.

Shelley has survived tremendous abuse and adversity. She has quite a story to tell about the faithfulness of God that Christian and secular audiences need to hear. It’s often said of her, “Whatever you expect a blind person to be, Shelley definitely isn’t it."
